About Me
About Me
Hi, I’m Lydia — a Digital Media Production and Journalism student at Flagler College, graduating in May of 2026. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, I moved to Florida to expand my creative opportunities and pursue a career in media and communications.
I am a driven multimedia storyteller with a passion for creating content that connects with a variety of audiences. My experience spans editorial writing, social media strategy, graphic design, photography, and broadcast production, allowing me to approach projects from both creative and strategic perspectives. I’ve contributed to publications such as Strike Magazine and the Flagler Gargoyle, hosted live radio broadcasts on Flagler College Radio - WFCF 88.5, and gained hands-on industry experience through my work with Cox Media Group - Jacksonville.
Currently, I work as a Social Media Specialist at Savor Social Studio, where I create and manage digital content, develop platform-specific strategies, and analyze performance to strengthen brand identity and engagement. Alongside my media work, I serve as a manager and bartender at Texas Roadhouse, where I lead various teams in fast-paced environments—building real-world skills such as strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities that translate into every professional setting.
I’m seeking post-grad opportunities in social media strategy, content creation, digital marketing, and multimedia storytelling. As I approach graduation, I’m ready to bring both creativity and strategy into a full-time role where I can make an immediate impact and continue developing my voice as a journalist.
