About ME

Hi! My name is Lydia, and I am a college student working on my BA in Communications. More specifically, a degree in Digital Media Production and Journalism. I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky, but I spread my wings by moving to St. Augustine, FL for college. I have always had a knack for all things creative, whether it’s social media and content creation, photography, writing, or editing. It all started in high school when I decided to become apart of my schools newspaper, not knowing where it would lead me. From there, I worked my way up to the Chief Editor of our paper, The Dragon’s Tale, which ignited my passion for journalism. Being apart of a community of unique and creative people just felt like it was where I belonged. Since then, I came to Flagler College to pursue my passions and turn it into my line of work. I have worked on Flagler College’s radio, WFCF, written pieces for the Flagler College Gargoyle, and held an internship at Cox Media Group in Jacksonville. As I move forward in my degree, I look forward to working with more talented individuals while creating new projects that continue to deepen my skillsets.
